I don't worry about it too much. Humans are adaptable and given the proper equipment, can tolerate almost anything. Who's to say that it won't get better, since it sucks now. Maybe my children and my grandchildren will want to make it better. One thing that would help a great deal is we get rid of this 24 hour news, a little mystery never hurt anyone. I don't think that it helps any of us that every second of every day, you are fed something new to worry about. We are not meant to think globally and that is why all the stress and loss of hope. I think that our children will be fine. In fact,I think they will do better than we have.

By the time my children's children are my age, it will be about 2057.
I wouldn't be surprised if the world were more materialistic than it is now, and if spelling and communication had degenerated to near-unrecognizable forms.
I bet they'll laugh at the current styles that are popular now.
I think everything will be more extreme: the right will be be more set in their ways, and the left will be even more liberal.
I think an awareness of the world at large will increase.
No one will have a landline telephone anymore, and everything will be smaller. (The Blender Nano!)
Genetic selection of children will be common.
What kind of world would I want for my grandchildren? A better one, of course. It will probably be better in some ways, and worse in others. But if they're raised well and taught good values, they'll survive. If nothing else, I will make sure that my family is close and that my children and grandchildren are a part of my life.
P.S. Paris Hilton for President? I think I just had a heart attack.
In that case, long live the Queen.

I fear the future... Look at the path we are on. Of course the future will be a spectacular sight... Flying cars, talking houses, holographic TVs... Those are all great things to come. But that's not why i fear the future. I fear that we, as a people, are forgetting God. Technology is slowly killing God. The more we become like God, the more we forget Him. We are becoming creators... And becoming quite adept at it. Just look at all of the innovative inventions we saw in the past 10 years. At this pace, we will become an advanced species before you know it...... Will we reach a point where we will no longer need Faith? Will we have the answers to all questions? This is what I fear. I fear that man will be so self-involved, we will no longer remember where we came from.

I have children and I wonder about that sometimes too. But to tell you the truth I don't really think they will much of a world because when we're through with it there will be nothing left for them to enjoy. We as of today is destroying the beautiful earth and we have global warming effecting us. I don't think they have much hope at all of having a good life as we have had.

for sure our great grand children will live on Mars, the way the technology is going, i think they will be able to live on plant Earth and Mars. well everything will be done by computers.
i think we will not have paper money or coins anymore.
I think everything we are and will be will turn to a number.Still
religion will have its place. still we will have leaders who are corrupt, everything will run as it is running now but with more speed and computerized.
most probably we will drive our cares just like JETTISON FAMILY. still we will have lobbies, all sort of organizations that are running now with different models.
all around most things will be the same. in different views and different atmosphere

Any answer submitted will be simply conjecture; its really just a matter of opinion. So, my conjecture is that space exploration will reveal other developed civilizations existing in our galaxy; that women will have major leadership roles globally; that their leadership will have addressed the disparity that exists globally in less technically developed areas and have provided the necessary tools that have assisted the populations in those areas to become economically independent. There will be one global currency which will eliminate the disparity that now exists between national currency values, hunger will be eliminated globally, health care will be available to everyone, and education will be the primary goal.

I already have grandchildren, so it is their children that I worry about. I know it will be nothing like the one I grew up in. There will be a lot less animals and a lot less water, it will be warmer and I think there will be more wars.

It frightens me to think about the kind of world they will live in. I have to be optomistic and hope that the human race will survive..because the other option is just not comprehensible to me.
