If you want the marriage or want to try to save it in any way. then try to relinquish the marriage. You married him for a reason, That person is still there and you are still in there, try doing something that you both enjoyed at one time. Or maybe get a room, (secretively) have a friend call him and tell him to meet at the hotel room #, friends having a stripper over, and if and when he call you tell him whatever. (more then likely he won't call) then get a ride from someone to the room. and get sexy girl. Make him want you! Come on marriage is spouse to be a sacred once in a life time thing. It was right once and it can be again. Don't give up so easily.

I was unhappily married, so I got divorced, but not on my birthday, but very close to New Year's Eve. So that was the best New Year present I could give myself.

If I didn't want to spend it entirely with my spouse, I'd let family or friends know that I wanted to get together with them for my birthday. That way you could mingle and have a good time while your spouse was mingling elsewhere at the same get together. After celebrating your bday, it would be a good idea to sit down and talk to your spouse about your marriage. You don't want to have to ask this question again next year. Good luck and God Bless.

If my husband is willing to celebrate with you, then I'll spend time with him, even if I'm unhappily married. If he doesn't even care, then I'll just go out with my friends and have some fun. Oh, If you're unhappy with him, why are you still with him? I guess you have your reasons , but HAPPY BIRTH DAY!^^

Either seriously reconsidering my marriage or at a marriage counselor.
Or maybe spicing up things in the bedroom, sometimes that helps a marriage, and it makes for a fun birthday.

Ask some of your friends out and have a nice meal followed-by some drinks at a pub or something. Be cautioned not to get drunk.
