The only way to uninstall Vista is to run right over it with another OS. When you put your XP CD in and get to the partition section, delete the existing partitions and creat a new one, then a quick format is fine.

Can you throw in your Windows XP CD and just install it over the Vista partition? Or boot into DOS and fdisk?

I haven't used Vista yet, but XP will format/delete partitions prior to setup.

I assume you have an XP Cd, if so:
simply boot from the cd
perform a "new" install
delete the partitions (very important)
then format & install

Use the original disc that came or should have come with, if you do not have it requested fron your dealer, he should give you an original that has all versions OS , the only thing needed is your licence to use it, done.

format your hard drive, but i think your windows xp won't validate unless you buy a new cd so you would spend more money of you do that
