No, you need to go to Galveston, Corpus Christi, or some other coastal to find many palm trees in Texas.

It is changing.

As the city grows and rennovates, it is planting palm trees. You won't find them in abundance throughout the city, however, as they are mostly used a decor for shopping malls, etc.

The San Antonio International Airport recently (about 6 months ago) planted several palms in and around the airport entrance and grounds. So did Northstar Mall.

Other than these examples (and a few other shopping centers), they aren't really very prominent though.

Hope this helps!

Then you're looking in the wrong city. I lived in San Antonio a few decades back and there wasn't one to be found. Wrong climate.

Palm trees really aren't native to Texas. If you see them anywhere, they've been planted there. The poster above me recommended Corpus or Galveston. I don't remember many in Corpus (of course I haven't been there in a while), but there are a fair amount in Galveston, especially along Broadway.

San Antonio not so much, the further you go down, the more you will see. I use to live in Brownsville and those are abundant down there.

I do not recommend living there but Miami should have some.
