what is the routers make and model?

open Internet explorer and put in either
192.168.0.1
192.168.1.1

user name is usually admin
and password is blank

for mine I had to go to the wireless setup tab to enter a SSID
yours might be setup or wireless

SSID will be set up in security

here are step by step instructions and some tips.

*for you I would not disable braodcast*
*setup a username and password for your router(usually under administration)*

Go into your router's settings and there should be a setting for broadcasting or hiding the SSID. Broadcasting the SSID means that any computer can see the SSID. If you hide it, your customers must be told the SSID.
You can also change the SSID.
You set the router by logging on to it. The IP address may vary from brand to brand so read your router's instruction manual.

To open your settings with a browser, you need to know the wireless units address. Usually the manufacturer uses 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.0.0 you type it in the address bar of your Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Netscape or any browser you use.

Once you have access to the router you type the name in the Username space and leave the hide SSID unchecked so the Username YOUR CAFE is displayed when people connect to your Wireless system.

You simply log into the wireless router, then go to the Wireless config, and type in the new SSID.

I believe the maximum SSID is 30 characters.

Connect to the router via your web browser and IP address of the router. Enter the settings page. From here you can enter the SSId name.
