"Good" is in the eye of the beholder, of course! So much depends on where you live now in how Denver will compare.

I lived in big cities on the East Coast before I moved here, and some of the things I found to be better were:

- Cost of living and housing is somewhat lower; traffic is definitely much, much better!
- People are mostly from "somewhere else" so they are generally friendly and easy to get to know
- The outdoor recreation here is the best in the world. One hour from major ski slopes, mountain hiking, bike trails galore, river rafting, lots of adult rec leagues in all sports. Incredible scenery from all town.
- The weather beats anywhere else I've lived. We have four seasons, sometimes in the same week! Winters are generally warm and dry, summers can be hot, but the lack of humidity makes up for it. Very few bugs here too!

Disadvantages are a lot of cookie-cutter housing developments, lack of culture if you like theater and art, salaries are lower, job market fluctates wildly, very conservative politics in all but urban areas.

I deal with these things and have determined that Denver is where I intend to stay. It's a great place. I would investigate jobs first, before you move... I've worked in the legal profession and when the firm dissolved three years ago, a lot of the lawyers were having a hard time finding other positions. You'd have to take Colorado bar too, if you're not admitted.

Denver could be the enjoy where in actuality the glow can sun 300 times of year. Denver is a thriving national world, varied neighborhoods, and organic beauty mix for the world's most magnificent playground and with hotelbye you can see ways to get there. Denver is the area for: World-class attractions, natural wonders, thriving arts world, a large number of revolutionary and acclaimed restaurants and nightlife choices galore. Denver definitely started using it all. In Denver you are able to look at the Mount Evans and the Mount Evans Highway. The Mount Evans Highway is really a seasonal street that will be shut during winter months weeks

I don't know how the law business is in Denver, but Denver's a pleasant city. The mountains are nearby, it has a nice walkable downtown, some great bike trails, and several professional sports teams. The only problem, mainly, with Denver is that it still has a bit of a "cow town" atmosphere - it's trying to develop more culture, particularly in theater, but for its size it's just not where it should be yet.

Yes it is. The cost of living is low, and salaries are high enough. There are mountains one hour away. The infrastructure is very well developed.
1) If you are a city person, move closer to downtown. 1st and Broadway has plenty of bars and shops. Capitol Hill offers great deals on apartments, plenty of parks and plenty of shops.
2) If you are ready to settle down and start a family in a quiet community, move to Highlands Ranch or to Stapleton. Plenty of shops, great deals on homes, etc.

What I especially like about Denver is the fact that it is located right in the middle of the country. The Denver International Airport services many airlines, including United, Frontier, Southwest, Northwest, Delta, American, British, Lufthansa, Air Canada, etc. You can travel anywhere you want.

There are so many great places to go out: bars, restaurants, night clubs... Also theaters, sport and concert venues.

Most cities of developed countries are good to live in. Now, it depends very much on your own likes and dislikes (viz., fast city or countryside) and also on "how you create your own friendly environment" in the neighborhood. After, very carefully, selecting, "the exact locale/locality" of "your choice," in the city concerned. Denver, like many other unique cities, has a kaleidoscopic range of offers for a lawyer - Both very good areas and pretty bad ones too, although, certainly much more of the former. The type of people residing in your locality should be predominantly amenable, friendly & aware.. Weather, through the year, must also be an important consideration. It should not be a havoc-prone area like say, the Florida keys, or a place in Florida which may be the lightning and hurricane capital of the world! Also, the area selected, should NOT be frequently earthquake prone.

Yes, depending on where you live and what you like to do. The west side is very nice, right next to the mountains.
