A theme for what? Since poker is usually associated with gambling, if you are talking about a theme for a term paper, there could be arguments for it and against it. If you mean a theme for a party or prom, then yes, I think it is an inappropriate theme.

Poker is a game, not a theme, and if it's something that you enjoy and are good at, sure- why not? If, however, it is interfering with your schoolwork, family life or relationships, then that could be a problem. I would also recommend sticking with penny ante poker.

I played poker, its fun

why d you ask? are you sick of it? Are you envy friends who play it? Or do you like it? If you like it play it. If you dont like it play MAGIC CARDS

Can you get those cards that have different themes other than the traditional suits? I think there funner - and I prefer dungeons and dragons cause there are bits and pieces, and you can have a salad an pasta night

especially if your teachers don like you playing during school period. you could become the poker king of San Francisco, you know that???!! pokerstars.com
