Whenever a tomb door or an old cave is opened up in movies a gust wind blows out from it. Does this really happen? If so, what causes it?

that gust of wind is probably a build up of some kind of natural gas that is causing pressure that when the tomb is opened it is released. it is similar to when you shake up a closed soda bottle then open it. the make it more theatrical so it is usually bigger then normally because movies are so over the top.

A wind machine.
It probably doesn't happen in real life, its just for effect.
