Do you think anyone can predict?
A very rough assumption of globailzation would be: similarities in architecture, lifestyle, looks cuz there would be more inter-racial marriages, cross-overs of cultrues and traditional beliefs, but I think religion will be preserved because they have centuries old foundations.

Well No Doubt on technological advancements cause it is going to some of the major breakthroughs will be
World Power:- Since Majority of emerging economies are from Asia like Russia, India, China, Taiwan Asia will become more powerful then ever before so the domination of the west will gradually end
Space Technology:- 100 years hence we will be more advance technically and we might have hubs on Moon Mars and Europa to name a few .......
BioTechnology:- This will also improve and we will have an extended life span we will be able to do things which at present are considered challanges like growing of an extra limb for the ones who lost it in an accident restoring of brain memory etc
Apart from that major political changes towards stabalisation of international conflicts will be down gobal warming will be the chalange of this century and a new technology for transportation will be the challange to meet up to

The largest changes from today is most likely to be in the biological sciences. Technologies grow and then plateau ( for example transportation over the last 50 years has changes little) so huge advances in existing mature technologies are unlikely. The population is supposed to stabilize. Democratic governments are stable so their number will probably grow. Religion and culture shift only gradually. The big unknowns come from the possibility of catastrophic events, nuclear war, comet impact, etc or an environmental breakdown, but such events are unlikely.

Barring the extermination of the human race because of a world war or an alien attack, the society will continue to flourish. Science will continue its astounding advances and genetics will change the way people are born and brought up. Human cloning may also occur. In tune with these changes, new laws will be enacted in the society. There will be major changes to the human social structure, and people will be divided more than ever on religious lines. Also, I predict a decline of the so-called Asian power, unless the current rise is also accompanied by ingenious innovation. Consumption can drive progress only for a period of time, but Innovation has to happen within these countries to truly enable them to rule the world. There will be more famines and continuing poverty in Africa. There will be a major ethnic divide in Europe, and I see the dis-integration of the so-called European society back to its pre 18-century days. The Americas will continue to dominate IF and OnLY IF they maintain their Intellectual edge. The economically sound but demographically small countries will lose their importance.
Concepts of nationality will blur with ethnic and religious conflict.

The enormous development of science along with it's threatening to our earth will reach a peak. There is always a fight between the development of science and saving of the environment. We already slave to all the comforts that science has produced and after 100 years we may reach our old style that is animal characters.

Technologically, i think we'll be very very advanced compared to now - perhaps in ways we think are not possible. Two of the random things that i can imagine are:
(i) We'll have personal vehicles that can fly, at sea level. (How one regulates traffic then is a different issue!)
(ii) We'll see movies, or any visual stuff, in 3D, projected in air (like a hologram).
Psychologically, i think humans are likely to keep fighting with one another and destroy each other and the planet (we are hindus! we are muslims! we are american! we are african! and all that divisional nonsense), unless each one realizes what a stupid thing that is. (and we need not wait a 100 years for that! - to start living as humans, without the 1001 labels in the name of religion, country etc)
