First cigarette I ever smoked was Camels. I was 10 years old. Me and a buddy slipped some Camels from his uncle.
A couple of months later my Father caught me and my brother smoking out in our barn but we were not inhaling. He got a pack of Lucky Strikes and made us smoke one each and made us inhale with each puff. By the time we got to the end of that cigarette we were so sick we could hardly stand up straight. Neither me or my brother ever smoked another cigarette after that. I guess my Father knew what he was doing.
OBTW that was 55 years ago.

I smoked for 26 years, Marlboro was the brand. On 1/17/1999, I went to the doctors with a virus, my pressure was 177/80, he told me to stop smoking, I went cold turkey and haven't had a cigarette since.

i think when i was 13, me and my friends from my street were fortunate enough to come across a single newport, which the four of us shared.
i dont smoke but when i turned 18 i bought a pack of newport just because could...
now i occasionally smoke 1 or 2 when im in a smoky club, and i have discovered kool menthol ultra lights, i keep a pack in my bottom drawer for these rare occasions...

Exprot A Light. Have been working my way down from 2 pks/day since graduation. Now down to 1 or 2 a day, sometimes everyother day. Can't wait till I don't feel the need anymore because I'm hating the way my cloths smell.
