Absolutely not. I know, it sounds like a good idea, but we have to always think of our constitution, most notably the freedom from cruel and unusual punishment. I know your sentence doesn't seem harsh or inappropriate, but it is, because it is unusual. And our constitution has been so successful at guiding us to make this great country what it is, we must continue to obey it. If we break that rule for your example, then it will be freedom of speech that falls next. Or the right to vote. Or freedom from search and seizure.

No more than someone caught posting stupid questions should. Slow the flow of ignorance here in the US. I happen to like the idea of Constitutional rights.

GREAT idea! At the very LEAST- they'd provide alittle cover for our guys who are engaged in battling Al-Qaida! :)

Yea, send criminals when we're trying to show the world we fight for 'freedom.' May be have them be our suicide bombers.
