We have central air and we probably run it from late May to Early September so about 4-5 months.

I run my air conditioner roughly 5 months out of the year which is between May and September, and I have a window model, which is a model for sliding windows. It is also though the wall.

all months of the year and i live in the mountians (i like it to be 10 degrees) and it is a centeral unit
