When I worked at Taco Hell, this was about 19 years ago, they had a policy of putting LARD into the refried beans. I did that. I was ordered to. It was official policy.
I haven't had their beans since.
I used to break up the ground beef when it came out of the package and point out that all of it used to be a cute little calf!
The vegetable oil that I fried tortillas in was cleaned out maybe once the entire time I worked there.
Yum!

I worked at a McDonald's as a teen and I never did anything bad to the food, but I try to avoid having someone do something bad to my food when I order fast food by only going when it's busy. When it's busy employees have less of a chance to think and consider what they can do, they're just running all over the place trying to fullfill the orders. A while ago I went to a Jack in the Box late one night and found a little piece of saran wrap in one of the tacos. I shrugged it off as an accident (although it put me off from getting fast food for a few weeks) but it was freaking when I felt it in my mouth and I thought the worst (condom!).

I've never worked at Taco Bell but I've heard that some of the former employees at the one in my town used to sh*t in the refried beans and serve them to customers. I'm pretty certain this didn't go on for long but I'm not sure what type of punishment the people received for it (other than obviously getting fired).

I know of certain foods which are big "no no" foods for dogs, such as, garlic, chocolate, grapes/raisins (believe it or not). But dogs are usually pretty clued up to these and usually won't touch them anyway. The other food personally I have found is not good to give them are onions that includes sauces that contain onions, and other leftovers. Your dog may have different intolerances and certain foods may cause allergies. If you see your dog trying to chew it's own leg desperately - a common behaviour in dogs - shortly after eating then most likely he has an allergy to that food he has just eaten.
