My man wants to really have a baby also! He is actually the one that began making comments about this a while back. I think he wanted to "test the waters" to see how I would react, lol.

I wanted to wait a few years to have a child. My man is willing to wait as long as I think is necessary. But more it is evident I want to bring a child of my own into this world!

We'll see...

If you feel like you're ready, then chances are, you are!

But be sure that you're financially secure, you're married, and you don't have any doubts with the future of your relationship at the moment.

If you do become pregnant, you may feel these feelings of doubt and regret, but that's just pregnancy depression, don't worry about it.

I would say when you both are emotionally and financially capable of dealing with a child. Being in love is great and stuff but it wont help you when you're trying to work things out with a baby. Babies add a little extra stress to a relationship in the beginning when you find that you don't have time for each other the way you used to. Also if you're not married yet, I would wait. It's hard enough to have a child with someone you're married to. With our first child my husband and I weren't married yet. We were only engaged and he was doing his training for the military. We weren't even living together of anything like that and it made it extremely stressful even before the baby was born. With this pregnancy, we've been married for a few years and own a home and are financially stable and it's amazing how much easier it all seems to be now.

I suspect there is never a good time just as there is never a bad time to have a baby. As has been suggested, the truest test is probably how you feel. You sound ready so you probably are. Should you be financially secure? Would be nice. Should you be in a committed relationship you are satisfied will last? Also would be nice. But then it would be nice if the world were a bit different. So go ahead, take a chance, do your best (as I know you will) and bring live into this world. Be sure to give your babies lots and lots of love, millions of hugs and always support them and believe in them and help them be the best they can be. You too. Good luck.

You have to be willing to wake up at 1 AM in the morning if the baby cries and doesn't fall asleep until 4 AM, change diapers continuously throughout the day, feed the baby when he or she gets hungry, burp the baby when it needs to release gas...in other words it is very hard work. You might want to think it through thoroughly before getting pregnant.

Good luck.

Logically you probably could make lists of reasons to have and not to have a baby until you got writers cramp. Sometimes nature takes care of such things for you.
I would at least wait until I was out of school and settled on a life path before bringing another life into your life.
