i restored earlier and now i cant download! help its only on ie and i try to click to get propertys and it does nothing

I restored my com and everything was fine until I tried to download on IE so I was trying to figure it out when I ran across something that said to try cleaning files and cookies and such,well i right click on IE icon and nothing it like flashed the screen and nothing so i went to internet options and same thing it would act like it was thinking and then just stop,nothing . so I went and undid my resore and it was the same thing,and on my IE browser my tools have just dispeared......I hope that is better help

Try installing a download manager

You might have changed your security settings.
Check your firewall setting.
From IE, check Tools, Internet Options: Privacy, Security, Content tabs.
You will have to allow some cookies. Many sites will not allow you to download without being able to put a cookie on your PC.

if u download with dap uninstall it and if this doesn't help use firefox instead of ie download it frm www.mozilla.com
