i'm running two filters in my 10 gallon tank, an Elite Hush 10 and Aquaclear 20 to make the water super clean for my convict cichlid. My tank is about 4 weeks into the cycling period. Lately I've been noticing tiny minute bubbles coming from where the filter's flow re-enters the tank. these bubbles eventually rise up to the top and 'stick' to the top of the surface. The top of the water looks like there is salt floating at the top, except with tiny minute bubbles.

I read that is normal to have bubbles coming from the filters, but i'm not sure about the tiny minute bubbles. Could they be lethal to my fish? If so, how do i remedy the problem?

Those will pose no potential threat to your fish. Nothing at all to worry about.

Do these look like a small white piece of fuzz that float in the tank and sometimes accumulate in the filter around the top of the filter intake (piece that pulls the water out of the tank)?

I've had this in cichlid and catfish tanks before - it's unsightly, but didn't harm the fish. All I can say it that it's some type of fungus - I've never bothered to identify the exact type.

You can net it out if you have a fine net and periodically clean your filter to keep the amount down.

in case you place this tank up recently it truly is by using fact it truly is all new water, in any different case, i'm undecided, perhaps you could positioned something like plant life under the filter out flow , possibly float some plant life there, tied to the filter out with some fishing line or something so that they do no longer float away.
