My daughter had a busy weekend. She spent the night with her grandparents friday night. Saturday was spent being in town all day. Sunday we went to a bbq and then I was forced (by my husband) to let his mother keep her for that night. She was brought home this afternoon where she played with no nap. At 730 she had a bottle and fell asleep. At 1030 I woke her up to change her diaper and give her her last bottle. She ate almost 5 ounces and went right back to sleep. I assume she is out for the night. Do you believe she is sick, or just wore out from the past couple day. This is the first time we've ever been so busy and the first time both sets of grandparents have had her in the same weekend. Should I expect her to wake up earlier tban normal? I always assume the worst!! Advice, anyone?

Let her sleep! She had a busy weekend. Lucky her! Enjoy your baby. she had a late night feed she should sleep right through the night. I never wake my babies up to feed them at night. They slept from 7 through to 6. Advice : go look at her sleeping and thank God for your special gift.

My daughter is almost 3 months and has the same schedule...every few days she sleeps ALL day only waking up to eat. Then other days she is up ALL day and only sleeps at night with a few catnaps in the day. The doctor said not to worry about it. They're still getting in the swing of things and probably aren't really set in any schedule yet...

sometimes they amaze you and sleep through the night for what seems like no reason - Not like you sleep through the might - YOU still get up 3 times that night to make sure they are still breathing and are covered with the blanket and are still where you put them blah - blah- blah ... and it is no different with the 5th than it was with the first. trust me - take the "full nights sleep" as the blessing that it is and try to catch up on your rest at the same time. Because it will not happen when you most want it to...

Good Luck and congrats on your baby.

i think she's just tired. if she had a fever, runny nose, was extra fussy AND tired- then yes, she could be getting a touch of something. i hope that you won't be repeating that pace with her every weekend- i always hated for my kids to be exposed to such a huge variety of people in such a short time.
anyhow, when it comes to expectations with a child's sleep, just assume they will do the exact opposite of what would seem normal. with both of my kids and without fail- everytime we had a busy day or were up late, the kid would be up at the crack of dawn, and then after a day of takin' it easy at home- they'd sleep in like teenagers!

take care!

I'd assume she's out for the night. It doesn't sound like she's sick. If she does wake up earlier than normal, just adjust her schedule to get her back to how she regularly is.

If she doesn't have a fever don't worry about it. Don't be worried about her sleeping through the night. My son started sleeping through the night at 2 months. Enjoy it. Get some rest, get laid! lol. Every mom worries like that, it's ok.
