I have two clowns, and I had previously asked a question on if one was about to die. One of my clowns barely moves, and sits on the bottom and I think he's about to die. He has like white little blotches on the top of is head, but you cannot notice them unless you look for them ( it could just be my imagination or something). He has also lost some coloring. He seems to have a coat on him, but I'm not sure if this is his slime coat from my anemone (I have a condi-lactin). Could my anemone be causing him to be sick like this? I would love to save this fish, so is there any medications that help fungal diseases that do not harm invertabrates, or other fish? I'm not completely sure if this is the problem, so if I use this med will it hurt the fish if they don't have the specified disease? I really need help ASAP so I can save this fish! PLEASE HELP!!!

I know copperhead means well however clownfish disease moves very quickly. You have inverts in your tank. Kick ich is a parasitic and fungus remover. It sounds like your fish has the Brooklynella form of ich. Clowns are noted for getting it.

Kick ich is the best medicine to treat all forms of saltwater ich and parasites as well as fungus.

this ich moves rapidly and can quickly wipe out your tank. Treat immediately. Kick ich is designed as a 21 day treatment. It will not hurt live rock or inverts. I have used kick ich and believe me you do not want to wait to treat your tank.

FOLLOW the directions. Do not over medicate the tank. Kick ich usually comes with a pre measure so you cannot over med your tank. Leave your inverts and rock in the tank and turn off your skimmer completely. Remove any carbon and just let the power heads and filter run.

If you need additional help, feel free to email me.

Is there anyone who isn't so lazy they cut and past web pages?

As was mentioned, Kick ich is what you need to cure your fish in a hury. Ich will spread in your tank rapidly. By the time you read all the web pages quoted, and some are weird, your fish could be dead.

Kick ich will take usually 21-27 day treatment and will not harm any other inverts or corals in your tank. It is expensive but it works well.

I think I answered your previous question. There's a line of product by Mardel made for saltwater diseases, but you'll need to make a good diagnosis of his problem so you can get the proper treatment. Also, depending on the medication, you may not be able to treat inside your tank because of the anemone. I'm going to try to find you a link I answered on marine disease diagnosis recently, so you can refer to that to diagnose your fish - it sounds like clownfish disease (Brooklynella), but I'll pass on the info (I'll add it at the bottom of my answer) for you to decide, since I can't see your fish.

ADDITION: See the disease diagnosis and treatment info in the question in the following link: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Am.XTZRWt0kwAbTgMdouDO3ty6IX?qid=20070402090921AAFaxTB&show=7#profile-info-NqULjPhFaa

If this was Brooklynella as I suspect, the protozoan could have come in with any recent additions to your tank - especially if you added water from the store into your tank. This is a serious disease and needs fairly quick diagnosis and treatment.

Ditto 100% to copperhead. Move on this as soon as you are sure of your diagnosis.
