What objects do you think is the best?
exp- Detroit's octopus, Florida's rat, hats for a hattrick etc...
I would have to go with the rat just because it has the best story behind it

By far the octopus.. also has the greatest story behind it.. as a couple of son's of a Detroit Sea food shop owner in the I think it was 1955 playoffs.. well early 50's anyways threw an octopus on the ice as Detroit went on to win there 8th straight game and the cup.. Terry Sawchuck shutting out the opposing team the entire playoffs on home ice.

Rats were annoying and spoiled it for everyone. They did it after every goal and it lead to the current delay of game penalty that can be called. At least hat tricks don't happen every day, and octopus were usually one, and less than one per game too.
My favourite is up and coming. A bra was thrown on the ice in Vancouver recently. A definite upgrade from the occasional salmon that used to be tossed. But I'd say get ready for the possibility of more bras hitting the ice this play offs. Unless the league gets high and mighty and starts calling delay of game on it.

I can't believe no one had mentioned this yet.
When Cory Pecker was playing with the Otters in the OHL:
Everyone loves Pecker
Fans of the Erie (Pa.) Otters of the Ontario Hockey League honor their team's top scorer, Cory Pecker, by throwing dildos onto the ice after the team wins the title. Um, we're not sure if we can say this, but there's got to be Pecker Bobblehead Doll in hockey's future.

I agree with bob..but u can also throw brains down for the refs..or the jerk offs next to u rooting for the other team
