What do you think of Ernest Bloch's "Israel Symphony" 1916?

Trying to decide if I should buy it or borrow it.

It is heavy on the cello and/or viola. So if you like cello, you probably would like it. As you might know, he worked in He worked in tonal, atonal, and serialist idioms, with heavy Jewish themes. I personally did not care for his works. now, Bach. Give me him any day.

What difference does it make what we think? If you like it buy it. That way you will be able to listen to it at your leisure.
