I never really thought about that before, i never even thought that it could be germy. I don't drink soda, but i do drink peach nectar which comes in a can. That's a good idea, cleaning off the top of my peach nectar, maybe it'll reduce my chances of getting sick.=)

Having worked in a grocery store, I can say "yes", 'cause I have seen what gets knocked over, touched, dropped, rolled, etc.
Bottom line, you don't know where that can has been.

my uncle told me that the guys who deliver them sometimes use them as step stools.. and they probably step in doodie.. so yeah, i always wash mine
