Did the car come with an alarm on it? Its not unusuall for non-Honda alarm systems with vibration sensors to reset with a 'chriping' noise after a vibration occurs such as when a heavy truck or a car with a loud exhaust goes by. Also, the non-honda radios do a similar anti-theft chirp when shut off. The factory keyless entry and alarm only beeps twice when you lock the doors to tell you that the factory system is armed. My guess is that the dealer installed an aftermarket supplementary vibration sensitive alarm on the vehicle before you bought it and that's what you're hearing.

Maybe it thinks it a cell phone and the battery needs to be charged.
