yes, thats because the author of the question didnt vote on a best answer, and the one answering voted for his own answer.......happens the majority of the time.

Not really. What do you expect from people who can't compose a three-word answer without making five spelling and grammar errors?

I just read the other answers. I rest my case.

It's doubtful that a person who cannot master English, can provide an answer more brilliant than yours...I mean ours.

Anyway, I'm here more for the comedy and free coffee and Danish...or Swedish.

Of course, you type your little heart out only to discover they wanted an answer that agreed with their delusional opinion. Or it goes into voting and some people or person that is clueless on the topic selects, in many cases, the VERY worst answer in the lot. Maybe, there is justice though. I believe a time or two when I was winging it that I was awarded best answer. Bet someone was ticked!

I hate that! I hate when I've actually done some research into something obscure like the 12th century grass types just to give a good answer and I put in links (not just to Wikipeadia - but proper websites that are full or information) and someone else comes along and just says something stupid like "Green" and THEY get given the best answer!!! What is with that!? Dont you know how much work and effort i gave into finding the right answer for you?! *vein popping out in my temple* I mean I dont just come out with this information off the top of my head. It's taken time...MY TIME...MY PRECIOUS TIME...to find out why the sky is blue or how long THC stays in your system or why is their PC running slow! I DONT KNOW!!! But I research it all for YOU and you give the best answer to someone who's taken three seconds to say I dont know!?!?! GAH!!

*taking a deep breath*
Woo-Saa

Yeah I hate that.

Definitely. Some questions there isn't a right answer, it's just what the person wants to hear. Of course, you leave stupid answers sometimes and a couple weeks later telling you that you got the best answer, -but- people voted for you, instead of the asker picking you.

I actually imagine that alot of persons on right here supply thumbs down because they choose their answer chosen so as that they thumb down everyones yet of classes that leaves theres with no longer some thing (reason you won't be able to cost your own).. i comprehend human beings do this reason some solutions are only to good to be thumbed down..its only inmature human beings get on right here and do it..thats why there might want to be age limits on right here to keep the inmature ones off!

I would say that "utterly brilliant" is a rather subjective term, but I can see your point... At times, I'll see a one word response chosen over an elaborate and thoughtful explanation...

Yes it does people are so dumb when they do that! I mean I work so hard on making a perfect paragraph or answer for the person to study and flow their minds through. Then people jsut choose the answerthey wanted to hear! THey use biased sense of mind to choose their answers.

Good Day!

Yeah, I think those people pick the sarcastic funny answers instead of the intelligent semi funny answers for their own personal entertainment. Yes it does piss me off just a little bit.=)

its expected the person asking the question usually has a preconceived notion of what they want to hear a well thought out answer in a different point of view is usually the killing point of your chances. I think mentially its a way of getting a pat on onw;s own back and geting reassured that the askers own view is correct
