I thought it's patheitc that it's wayyyy expensive for a mere bottle of water! I mean how could it be different from Absolute or Viva waters??? They undergo the same process of distillation or purification, but why would water, even water, have to be typecasting???

I wonder if there will come a day when air would also differ between the rich and the poor.

While the cost of WATER is absurd, even more so is the fact that it is shipped from France or Italy around the world, using ships emitting CO2 and unburned hydrocarbons!

San Pellegrino Price

Commerically bottled water of any sort tends to be overpriced in the West. They do have their value in 3rd world nations--where potable water can be impossible to find.

Italian San Pellegrino (and the French Perrier brand) are naturally carbonated water and have a fizzy mouth feel, making them a good zero calorie substitute for sodas, so relatively speaking they are a better value than say Evian and the countless other brands.of uncarbonated bottled water.

Speaking of air, in LA snooty people go to oxygen spas where they breathe 100% pure oxygen for a hefty price.

Most expensive water we have found here was "Mahalo" water (bottled from the bottom of the Pacific near Hawaii??). For 1 litre the selling price was PHP400. We got our bottle free--would NEVER pay that much for water. It tasted just like any other water in the world.

I have been known to drink pellegrino for sparkling but not here in PI.

Those brands don't matter too much here, except for foreigners. But, we'd have to learn what they are so know what to order when abroad!

just learned about it that if you reverse the spelling of evian it would come out naive.
