I don't particularly like or dislike Mr. Bush, but I don't think that he's leading us in the right direction. I think he's setting a bad moral example to the American public. The example is about making mistakes. It seems to me that Mr. Bush thinks that the president is supposed to know everything about everything, he never makes a wrong decision, and he never needs his cabinet members or anybody else to help him come to these decisions. And that the worst thing a leader could ever possibly do is to change his mind about a particular issue. The people in his cabinet are there just to tell him "yes, Mr. President, you are absolutely correct." That's why he's had so many cabinet members leave. But this is like telling the American people "You should always know everything about yourself all the time. Nobody else matters, only your opinion counts." That's ridiculous.
Fortunately, I don't think he's done any real damage to the American psyche. I just feel bad for him, because 30 years from now, when he's looking back on what we think of his legacy, he'll find that he's been voted one of the worst presidents ever.

I think President Bush has done the best he can with terrorism on one hand and democrats fighting every stand he takes. I truly believe he has been placed in an impossible position. What else could he do but go to war when terrorist are boldly taking steps to terrorize our country. Only time will tell with what happens next- when he is gone and they attack us again what will everyone say then about the President. Maybe they will wake up and realize what he has been trying to do all along protect our country from animals that have no respect for life. God help us all.

Whether the direction is right or wrong hope future may tell us. Many a time we would never know if it was right. In the absence of anti-terror activities of his type, what state of affairs were to be seen can not be noticed.
Next question is should we not condemn his highhanded actions? In a democracy such presidents are always under heavy attack by media and people. Media and people are offered that right. If right or power unexercised will be lost. So they excercise. The president of Pakistan is not attacked by his country men for his support to Bush in anti terror activities against their own Muslim people as is done by Americans to Bush!
If you want to enjoy maximum benefits of democracy criticize Bush before you miss that chance!

President bush, or for that fact some of his predecessor's haven't lead US in right direction.. first they created Laden .. thinking to use him as a weapon during cold war.. slowly Laden became to powerful to be controlled... a Frankestein merged out of it.. now they want to destroy it... "war against IRAQ or AFGHANISTAN " was just an excuse for that... where millions of dollars were blown away to kill innocent civilans by shooting "target rich" missiles...
The hatred to which America is subjected to from the so called "muslim" world.. is their own creation...
They sonspored terroism at one point of time thinking that by doing so they will acheive control over whole world..
Now they are reeling under it effect for their own deeds....
I think US needs a non-hypocritic president who has a thinking head on his shoulders., who can salvage the situation and save US from dooms day!!

I do no think the President is leading us in the right direction, (and I voted for him). But who else was there at the time, the famous "inventor" of the Internet?
That is not to say he is purposely leading us astray either.
He inherited this middle Eastern mess from Carter, who in some very real ways inherited it from the British, and their "Arabist" and Zionist policies.
What I most strongly disapprove of is the "Nation Building" aspect of the mission, He had an obligation to neutralize any threat to our security, even abstract ones, Saddam included. But we have no business going around thinking that inside every foreigner, there is a Democratic American trying to get out.
We got Bush because that is what we as a nation deserve, and Iraq got Saddam for the same reasons.

I don't think President Bush is taking us down the path of destruction. I think liberals are doing a good enough job of that.

you do no longer look to have a clue. It wasn't in simple terms his intercourse life and the very fact he could no longer look to do it everywhere however the Whitehouse or maybe that he lied approximately it. it incredibly is the 30+ people who had 'unintentional' deaths besides to the 12 physique guards. it incredibly is the merchandising out of our united states to China and all the unlawful dealings he did wherein all the information disapeared. it incredibly is the very fact he did no longer something to even attempt and supply up terrorism even tho human beings have been attacked international which is composed of the commerce center the 1st time.

He has failed America.
But he won't be beheaded or in danger or lose his home or money. In fact most of the PRO-war people are making money with this war. When its allover the rightwing coffers will have much more money in them. Meanwhile those who are against war will be as poor as ever. At least people are being drafted to go die or become disfigured in Iraq.
The pro-bush people should anti up to help out with the costs of their war.

I think he is doing well.
He understands the threat of Islamist terrorism (as opposed to Islam itself); but he also understands that the time is not right for an all-out war.
He understands that we need to start preparing for a global conflict, but he understands that we cannot predict the enemy's future actions, so we cannot be fully involved yet.
He understands the threat, but he also understands that many in the US and elsewhere do not understand it yet.
He understands (I think) that we have to get control of our borders, but he also understands that we need to stay friends with our neighbors, and that our immigration problems are partly due to mistakes on the part of the US.
He understands his importance, and his limitations.
