It is interesting to note that all four men were elected in a year ending with a zero.
There are many other Presidents who have had unsuccessful attempts made on their life including, Andrew Jackson, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.
