well... good news and bad... the good news is your on the pill and if taken correctly you should be ok... but there always is a chance. :( be carefull
bad news... the time when a woman ovulating is approx 14 days before thier next period...so there is a good chance it was right around when your ovulating :(
I would say make sure you are more careful in the future but i would think as long as your taking the pill, HOPEFULLY you will be ok this time... ONLY time will tell..... Good luck !!

birth control pills can be very effective if used correctly, they are up to 99% effective. It's still a good idea to use a condom in addition to the pill because for one, it's not 100% and more than a few women (including myself) have gotten pregnant while on the pill, and also because condoms help protect against STD's. I would not worry about it to much. There is really nothing you can do, if it's been less than 72 hours you have the option of using the morning after pill, but there's really no need for it if you're already on birth control, they are essentially the same. You are just going to have to wait it out and rely on the pill to do its job which it should. In the meantime just to err on the side of safety, don't drink or smoke just incase.

The pills is around 99% effective if taken every day at the same time. So as long as your taking it correctly you should be ok. I would be worried about STDs though since you didn't use protection. If your worried go see a doctor in a week or two and get checked. Also just so you know some people still have there period when they are pregnant.

Hi,
Well you had sex around ovulation time. If you had not used birth control you would have had a good chace of being pregnant. But you did use the pill. the pill is 99% reliable if taken properly, so if you were taking every day and did not miss then you should be pretty safe.
The thing you are not protected against are infections and STDs.
I think it fairly likely you are safe, but it was risky.
I wish you luck and take better care next time! I know its hard in the heat of the moment, but you have to look after yourself!
Good luck!

I take the depo provera birth control shot every three months and it is very similar to many pills. I have been taking it since January and have had unprotected sex since then with my boyfriend and I have not gotten pregnant so you are probably ok. Don't stress about it because it will make you late. Just wait it out.

delivery administration pills could be very useful if used wisely, they are as much as ninety 9% useful. that is nevertheless a competent theory to apply a condom besides to the pill through fact for one, that is not a hundred% and a unfold of girls (consisting of myself) are transforming into pregnant whilst on the pill, and likewise through fact condoms help shelter against STD's. i would not subject approximately it to lots. there is quite no longer something you're able to do, if that is been below seventy two hours you have the alternative of employing the morning after pill, yet there is quite no want for it once you're already on delivery administration, they are actually an identical. you're purely going to would desire to attend it out and rely on the pill to do its activity which it is going to. meanwhile just to err on the edge of secure practices, do no longer drink or smoke purely incase.

The box of birth control pills should say how effective it is...usually 99% effective, so the odds are very slim.

If you take your birth control everyday (like you should), you probably are not pregnant. There is nothing you can do until you skip a period. If you skip a period....take a test.
