i had pain in the skin at the bottom of my sternum but not numbness and tingling i was told the pain was due to the skin stretching, maybe the numbness and tingling are too, but i would check with your gyno to be sure

Hi,
I think you ought to ask your midwife or Dr about this just to be 100% sure, but if you are fairy well on in the pregnancy then it is probably the weight of the baby pressing don on the nerves. I had some weird pain in my three pregnancy and this was one of them.
I ended up with a huge baby but he was sitting in the odd position where he pressed doen on the bones from inside! It felt so odd sometimes!
I wish you loads of luck and hope it settles in a more comfortable position for you! Its when they press down and up at the sae time you know all about it! My huge one was 11 lbs 8 1/2 oz in the end and he pressed down on backbone, bladder and backside and up into my stomach, and boobs! Very uncomfortable! but he was worth it in the end! LOL
Wishing you well.

Yes I have, but was cleared by the doctor. I am 28 weeks pregnant with my first child and I'm suffering from my whole right side of my body feeling numb. If I were you just to be sure I would go to see a doctor to put your mind at ease.
