I have to do a poetry project and i'm supposed to compare myself to an animal, and i'm conparing myself to a fish... what kind is pretty and has long fins? i can't think of any...

A betta splendens (siamese fighting fish). They come in all different colors and have very long, flowing fins. See sources for some pics with examples.

obviously the Angelfish is a good choice but the Majestic Angelfish is both beautifal and sounds pretty poetic sounding. Sorry it may not have the longest fins for a fish but it is poetic.
