examples are
give a bum a dollar
hold the door open for someone
give up your seat for someone on the train (not necessarily pregnant or old, just someone who looks tired)

Mine would be celebrated at the veterinarian clinics offering free spay/neuter for both domestic pets and feral cats brought in by TNR (Trap Neuter Return) program participants and I would want it named for 23 year old Answer, an abandoned "hard stray" deliberately inserted unarmed (declawed) into my feral colony years ago by an unspeakable wretch currently enduring the "Curse of the Goddess." I need no holiday for myself because I was granted seven years of continuous holidays with tiny "Answer."

Moose day would be the first Friday of May. There is too long of a stretch from after spring break to Memorial Day. It would be a on a Thursday like Thanksgiving so you could get two days off of school.

There would be a ticker-tape parade in every city; free champagne with cherries; everyone would wear feathers, sparklies, and lots of gaudy jewerly; lots of yummy little appys; and no one would wake up the next day with a hangover!
