It's difficult to regret telling someone you hate them when you really do. It is ever so much more harmful to tell someone you love them when you don't.

To say I love you when you don't mean it. lying and toying with someone emotions having to deal with the pain and confusion you caused is terrible. If you say you hate someone in really mean at least the know and there is no confusion, and hopefully the person will leave you alone and if not they should be expecting what's to come from you. So I gonna have to go with I love you a lie is much worse.

For me it would have to be saying I LOVE YOU and not meaning it. Leading someone on and trying to fool them and yourself just leads to major heartbreak. At least if you say I HATE YOU and you really mean it at least your being honest. Yeah it will hurt thier feelings but it would be easier to deal with then a broken heart. Trust Me!

I hate you. Why? Because it hurts. The only reason you are going to say it is if you are trying to get revenge for something else. Think of everytime you've ever said those words. You've said them trying to make the other person feel bad. You don't say them just because they are true....you say them to hurt.
If you tell someone you love them, even if you don't mean it, means you are at least trying to make someone feel better. I'm not saying its right, but its much better than trying to make them feel bad.
The word "hate" is too strong a word to be used most of the time.

I love you when you don't mean it. Thats the most cruelest treatment a person can get to live a lie. If someone hates you, fine. Not everyone will like you and at least its honest.

It is more regretful to say I HATE YOU when you don´t mean it, because you´ve already affected another person hurtfully and when you say I LOVE YOU and don´t mean it, at least they other person isn´t hurt.

Well, the LIE is probably more regretful. So, I LOVE U when you don't mean it.

Well, I would regret both..... But playing with someones heart by saying you love them when you truely don't, is far more hurtful.
