i own a repair shop and on a stock engine they wont give you that much but they will increase it a lot,on an engine that is built a little they will add a good 25% but not on a stock engine, you can expect to get around 15% out of though, and that's a lot if you think about ,but a few minor mods on it you can get 25 or better from it,good luck hope this helps.

no sports chips are just chips programed with some remaper that may work or may not. but only gives you 2-5 hp you can get a reprogramer and do all your car and friends cars and you can adjust it to your driving hapits not someone elses. when you do this you can get up to 20- 60 hp.

KWP2000 is used for remapping your car to improve the performance of your car.
No matter the car model the KWP2000 can re-program the information stored in the ECU chip to optimize and improve the power of the car without having to jeopardize fuel consumption and the reliability of the car. The technical term used to describe the car switchboard is ECU- Electronic Control Unit. The ECU uses closed-loop control, a control scheme that monitors outputs of a system to control the inputs to a system, managing the emissions and fuel economy of the engine (as well as a host of other parameters). Gathering data from dozens of different sensors, the ECU knows everything from the coolant temperature to the amount of oxygen in the exhaust. With this data, it performs millions of calculations each second, including looking up values in tables, calculating the results of long equations to decide on the best spark timing and determining how long the fuel injector is open. The ECU does all of this to ensure the lowest emissions and best mileage.

Depends on the engine. Basically they mod the engine to get you more aggressive timing, shoots a bit more fuel, and possibly add a few hundred RPM to the rev limiter (if computer controlled) thus pushing up the redline. There's no way to know without actually trying it, and then you'd only know how much you really gained by putting it on a dyno, before and after.

10-15% is more realistic, and beware, as the others have said...
1) You MUST feed the engine PREMIUM fuel from now on
2) You may NOT pass your state's emissions test without the original chip back
3) You are shortening the life of your engine by adding extra heat and other stress to it.

Yes and depends on how much you sport tune, but remember this also put additional stress on the engine and may void any guarantees in effect or cause you to fail your air pollution test in your state.
