I didn't find it laugh out loud funny from begining to end movie.
I did find it to be a generally entertaining film overall. I think Matthew Broderick carried the movie and the actress cast in the role as ex-girlfriend/ reporter,Maria Pitillo, just was not believable (she won a "Razzie" for worst supporting actress for her role in this movie).
The only Godzilla movie that I laughed all the way through was "Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster", with the funniest part when when Godzilla fire-breathes against the ground, he can fly, yes, I am not kidding, fly, backwards.

This is the one with Broderick, right? If so, I couldn't make it through the entire movie. I never liked Godzilla anyway (always preferred King Kong) and the new movies were mind numbing-all of them.

i liked the american godzilla movie version. same that it cost so much they will never make another one.
