Here's a good list, some aren't romance anime but you might be interested in them, I recommend starting with REC it's a great anime and short ¿_¿ wish it was longer though, try watching them in Japanese with English subs you can download any of these fansubbed using Bittorrent if you don't know how to use it send me an email or add me to messanger.

Kamisama Hajimemashita: My favorite shoujo anime of all time,a good balance of comedy,romance, and fantasy
Akagami no Shirayukihime: A lot of romance so I didnt like it that much, but you might still enjoy it
Akatsuki no Yona: A little more adventure and action than romance, but it's still awesome

Fruits basket is quite funny and light to watch. it's not about romance per say but focuses on strong friendships and familial bonds. it's about a girl who's all alone and stumbles upon a family which eventually takes her in. but this family has a special secret ;)
paradise kiss is another, it's thickly romantic and has some funny parts. the series is short so you won't get tired of it and it'll leave you wanting more. drawing style is wonderful and the story is interesting and not just your usual cutesy anime theme. personally the manga versions drawing style is much more detailed, so try reading that after watching the series.
