Elle:

You ought to get to know Chi a bit before coming down so hard on him. He's an extremely pleasant guy, and always polite. He attempts to have amicable debates, and I've never, ever seen him attack another member personally.

Are his questions biased? Certainly. Are they totally hyperbolic? Oh ya. But if you're looking for a noble person to debate with, who will always hit "above" the belt, that would be Chi.

Chi: You're the man Chi. 1/2 you're questions are nutty, of course, but you're the man.

P.S. What, ALL politicians aren't actors? Too funny.

Check the biographies. Fred Thompson was a hard working reformer and legal eagle long before he got into acting. He once said that he was only the 80th best actor in the Senate.

I prefer real conservatives. What they have done for a living before is interesting but not crucial.

By the way, rather than constantly denigrating the republicans when will the democrats start explaining, specifically, what they intend to do about the war on terrorism? All I have seen so far have been general platitudes. If you really don't know what the democrats intend to do, why don't you?

I hope the democrats, should they win the white house, don't intend to just ignore the problem for another four years.

Might I remind you that Arnold, Bono & Eastwood were all elected in Calfornia & carried a large Democrat vote.
Oh yeah, add Govenor Reagan to that list. California has few Republicans to vote, so I guess we need actors to fool Democrats into voting for the Republican canidate.

Not the first time I have seen this, but my question is, what in the hell does actors have to do with politics? And why is Alec Baldwin still in this country?

John McCain did a good job of acting in Iraq yesterday,, with 100 military bodyguards,, a dozen helicopters flying over his head, and body armor,, strolling down the streets of Baghdad to prove how save it is,, today a suicide bomber killed,, soldiers and many innocent,,,,,

how many Republicans will take their families to Iraq for the Easter Holiday,, to show their faith in George W. Bush,,,

I'm glad Thompson is a Republican; I like him. I didn't know Sony Bono was one of us, either. Who would have figured he had such sense?
