first of all don't tell me to "see a doctor" because i already have and the only thing he can do is tell me to take some tests and i can't afford anymore. with that being said, i get these really bad stabbing pains in my chest (to the left) and they are only every once in a while. i am 18 years old and my heart is perfect and i have done a bunch of tests so it's not that. but, i do have gas all the time (i burp a lot all of the time) and im almost convinced that it is a gas problem. right now as i am writing though, i am experiencing my worst "attack" of this and it hurts like hell. usually its just a few quick stabs because i lean to the left of down but this time it hurst when i take a deep breath and just in general. it hurst REALLY BAD when i take a deep breath. could it be something other than gas? my ribs on the left are deformed and cave in a little, could they be pinching together or something like that? has anyone ever experienced this, something similar or stabbing pains?

It sounds like your doc has checked you out well.

You can get simethicone at the store - it is over the counter and helps with gas. Take as directed fallowed by a glass of water. Walking also causes gas.

Stop drinking soda

If you continue to have this problem you can see another doctor for a second opinion. Have you seen a gastic doctor?
