I entirely agree with you. A Minister, or Preacher, or indeed Reverend, earns for too much. They do too little outreach work and leave it to the congregation to help others.
I don't think they should be paid and should do things of their own volition with no such inscentives. Paying so much is likely to lure in peple who have studied it, but don't believe it, and that pollutes the church entirely and goes against everything a church stands for.
And isn't all that money fuelling greed? I think so. I would definitely say that these people earn for too much and get too many perks!

Ministers (as any leaders of the cloth like Priests, Rabbis, etc.) work AROUND THE CLOCK....marriages, funerals, spiritual guidance for people, working with the ill, etc. etc....they don't have much personal free time....so yes....to ME they deserve the $$$$.

They are owed wages for the services they perform, like everyone else. However, priests, popes, and ministers often get praise that is not owed them. It is owed to God, for they are just sinful people like everyone else. They are to speak to bring people closer to God, not to speak for God.

They're tied for the worst profession ever along with used car salesman and telemarketer. 95% are just manipulators. I'd like to give them a free trip to heaven.
