That would be extremely freaky. But is that even possible, or was it your parents the whole time just scarying you? What kind of things did you talk about? That is so weird.

Not really...annoying, yes. :D

There actually are several interactive AIs you can chat with on-line. They go back to the early 80's. I think the program back then was called "Eliza." After a few dozen questions, the typical AI seems almost human, and in some cases, in blind tests, the AI was rated as "more human" than the human chatters the test subjects were chatting with.

Now that WOULD BE an interesting scenario. I don't even know how to do chat
on line but I have watched a friend do it and it looks interesting. It would be nice
to talk to your friends that way. Just friends. It would be a freaky scenario at that
but--what If YOU FIND OUT THAT IT WAS YOU YOURSELF THAT YOU WERE
TALKING TO THE WHOLE TIME. Now that would be scarier yet. WOOOOOO!!!

Yes that would be insane, however it is possible considering the advancement in AI these days. I know of a few programs that can talk to you as if you were chatting with another person!

yes, freaky enough for me. if it has been several years, i'd have grown comfortable with this chatmate or whatever you wish to call this non-existing thing...
