Why is it everyone wants more for car seat covers than the cost of a new Natuzzi leather sofa? Just because it says corvette on it I guess...anyone know anyplace more reasonable for '89 leather covers??

It's possible someone will be selling some on eBay Motors. I'm no fan of leather for seating, but some people like it. Be wary of the type, grade, and treatment of the leather you buy. The crappy (and often cheaper) stuff doesn't last.
Consider taking the seats out and having them covered by a furniture upholsterer. They can put in better padding and even do a bit of customization to better fit your body. I had a local do my headliner and part of one seat (it's not a Corvette), and they did a superb job at very fair price.

Go to wilcox corvette on line www.wilcox.com they have been around for years. They will give you great service and prices. Have gotten alot of parts from them and they have always been the cheapest price, and best quility.
