I have an 84 Corvette that seems to run fine when cold but when it reaches operating temperature it runs rough and loses power. It was just rebuilt and may have had the problem before but it was always oil fouling plugs then. I have no ECM codes set and already replaced the ignition coil. I double checked the valve adjustment also. Any ideas?

Car has dual single barrel throttle body injection. The fuel spray out of the injectors "looks" fine.

what about the wires, did you replace them with the plugs. you could possibly have a leaking spark. try this, get it warm pop the hood. take a spray bottle with water, and aply a very fine mist to the wires and listen, if you hear a change then the plug wires are shorting out to the block. replace and enjoy.

Could be a number of reasons, but check the simple stuff first, like pull the spark plugs and look at their appearance. are they burning true or fouled? Are valves mechanical or hydraulicc? If hydrauli there is the initial adjustment only, if mechanical check when hot. Or before you do this check the vacuum your engine is pulling at idle when hot. You should have 18-20 inches. If so then your mechanical are OK if not you could have a valve or timing advance problem.

Insanely extreme, relies upon on states, too. Guessing some thousand a twelve months. in case you have an older motor vehicle (supposing it is your son), insure him on an older, decrease priced motor vehicle. The corvette will not be able to be titled in his call the two, considering the fact that he's no longer over 18 (consistent with probability 17 in some states). If the corvette is titled on your call, it is going to likely be far decrease priced. coverage for my camaro in my call would have been $1200 a twelve months, while i'm paying $500 for a twelve months titled in my dad's call. once I turn 25, i will change my vehicles over to my call. -edit- particular, a 15 twelve months previous can force. that's state-based. i've got been using considering the fact that i became 15.

sounds fuel related, check the fuel pressure, when it is hot.
Also would need for information on your carb or injectors on this vehicle.
