Ok All yall with smart a$$ answers its eitha a yes or no becuz last tyme i tried lookin for a dvd burner it was a writer!

From the details in the product listing, it appears to be an inexpensive DVD burner capable of writing all of the common writable formats, including the ability to print on LightScribe discs. I have no idea of its quality, but Asus is a respected brand.

Since the title includes the words "DVD Burner", why wouldn't it be?
EDIT: DVD burner is also sometimes called a DVD writer/rewriter.
And it wasn't a smart-alec answer. It DID answer your question. Stop carrying a huge chip on your shoulder.
