It could be from the ammonia, however that doesn't make them loose their color as much as it makes them turn black, and since only one fish is affected most likely not. Also a water change is always a good idea.
Many guppies and gold fish change their color as they age. Some loose the bright colors and turn more bland.
This is from breeding. Guppies are a breeders gold mine. Depending on the breeing of your guppie, he could be reverting back to his original color. Red tailed guppies, unless breed with red tails will do this. Fancy's are another that have the possiablity to do this. If your guppie comes from a common guppie and a fancy, he may take on the colors of the fancy, and is highly possiable to revert back to a clear color of the common.
Watch him closely for the next few days. If he is eating and swimming, chances are he is just going back to what his genes say he should be.

Probably ammonia fom the waste products of the 7 day feeder. I would suggest you do a 50% water change in the tank and see if that doesn't improve things by tomorrow.

Try doing a Ph test on the water. It could be that your Ph balance is off. You can buy kits at any pet store and in most department stores like Walmart or Meijer.

Do your water tests if you have them, or take your water to the local pet store to get tested. In the meantime do many small water changes over the next week and see if conditions improve.
