it's taught under theology based courses.. scientific theories are taught in scientific based courses..

No experiments were done. All other science is based on observations followed by theories followed by experiments. Not to mention that ID was just thought up recently and all the other science they're teaching in high school is 30-50 years old.

I watched a documentary about ID awhile ago. I think the point that was most apparent was that Science is about observation, forming theories and proving them. ID isn't a real scientific theory, it kind of says: "We don't know how human came to being, lets just assume someone came and made us." It has no mention of 'what', and proves of that 'what', so there is this huge gaping hole in that idea.

Because it isn't science. It is religion. Not one single atheist subscribes to it. If there were really some science to it, at least a few athiests would subscribe to it.
