It goes forever.
You never get used to it but you learn to live with it.

I have found that a lot of the people who were idiots turned out to be pretty decent. Also, a lot of the people that were considered "normal" turned out to be TOTAL dumbasses. I think when you are older and you look back and wonder why those people were such morons, you understand it a little better after you have matured. They were probably the "normal" ones the whole time.

Some ppl have a revelation to stop being the jerk off or the cheerleader hooker. An they grow up an see that in the REAL world they don't care about you being the jock , the homecoming queen , head cheerleader, class president , and etc. They just wnat to no if you can do the work and make that company some money etc..... But other's still never grow up and they become jerk offs forever and raise lil jerk offs like them or they ususally don't live that long either.

Ah believe it, mate - once a jerk, always a jerk.
Tell yeh wot though - there was one bloke made me high school days a living nightmare. Well, shortly after graduation he knocked up some 15 year old girl. Daddy got sick of him acting like a dweeb and cut him off. Last I heard, he's workin' a dead end job just to support his satellite family.
Another bloke I didn't care for, he deals in mortgages for high risk applicants. He deals with some pretty slimey people day in and day out. He's pretty miserable.
They stay jerks, but often Karma gets 'em in the end. Just live your life well and be yourself, it's truly the best revenge.

Most people grow up and move on with their lives. Some that still act the same but tend to have no success in life. You won't see a quarter of the people you saw in high school again after you get out.

Some change for the better and some still remain the same, but usually it's yourself that does the most changing, and at some point you realize that the things that were so important then mean nothing to the grand scheme of life. It really does get better than the immaturity of high school.

To answer the second part first, I don't think you ever really get use to it, you just learn to consider the source and move on.
Yes it continues for the rest of their lives. Some times it seems to me that they are practicing being idiots and morons until they get it right.

Those who are morons/jerks, remain just that. Forever.
Those who aren't become become it because of others, unless they are one of the VERY few who have their OWN mind, these won't become morons/jerks.
Easy answer...yeah, it's a lifelong trait. And those VERY FEW just have to basically put up with it, and yeah, eventually you just don't notice it anymore.

Once and idiot, always an idiot. Unless they get a major personality overhaul. This does happen, Ive seen it done. They actually become good people. Also only God can change a persons heart condition, no one else.

I wish I could say it changes, but sadly, often it doe not.
I am helping plan my 20th class reunion and because the "popular" girls want to do it during homecoming weekend, they felt that should be when we have it.
Several of us not popular people can't make it then so we started planing a reunion in July. The other girls went postal and now our class off 600 graduates have 2 reunions to choose from.
It's really quite sad in my opinion.

Some do. Some don't.
If it's any consolation though, every high school football captain I've ever known fattened up to blimp like proportions within a few years of graduating.
