if your pregnant it will take a month or 2 to come out positive on a preg.test.an if your spotting it could be that your going to get your period,it at the beginning,it could be because of stress that you are spotting.let hope your not,but if you are give birth to the baby please don't hurt it.

When you stop the pill, it can cause irregular period or spotting. My periods were not regular again for 3 months after i stopped. Pregnancy tests are really reliable. If you aren't sure, test again in a week. Also use one of the EARLY predicting tests. But next time be sure to use protection. One of these times you might be pregnant. Good luck!! Call your DR and ask though just to be sure. They can do a blood test which is way better at early detection.

sometimes preg. test cant detect the hormone that is expelled in your urine to detect pregnancies. If you are not that far along, a blood test will be able to tell you. If your periods are irregular, then how irregular are they? Do they come on different days of the month? Do you skip months sometimes? Also if you are spot bleeding, then chances are that you very well may be preggy. You spot sometimes in the beginning of a pregnancy because your cervix is closing up and you have a bit of irritation from all the changes in your body. If you are not pregnant, then start using protection so that you can prevent future pregnancies and from getting std's. I do not care if you are only having intercourse with one guy. Teenagers and youngun's cant be trusted when it comes to sex and having sex with other peeps and not telling you. If you are preggy, please I beg you not to have an abortion! For that is not the answer to this situation and you will regret doing it down the road. I became preggy at the age of 17. My mother was very abusive while I was growing up. I had to tell her sometime and I was prepared for her to beat the living hell out of me. But surprisingly she was upset but I got support out of her that I thought was not there. Good luck sweetheart and seek out support for this in a more personal manner and not on the net....

It's a tough situation. Irregular menstruates can cause periodic spotting. It doesn't mean you are pregnant. However, you have had unprotected sex, that still doesn't mean your pregnant..it could be an STD causing your spotting and lack of regular menstrual. You need to ask yourself, ..do you want a pregnancy test, family planning offers them free. You can get pregnant after missing a few pills. I think, for your safety, you should. If you get your menstrual, and still are spotting..it may be a sexually transmitted disease..not to scare you, but you will need to know. Maybe your teacher could help you in this. Good luck to you!

Since your periods are irregular, it is hard to guess what is happening. I think you should wait a couple of weeks and do another pg test. If it is negative, then it may be fine to start the pills again. In the meanwhile, there are other ways of birth control and to have unprotected sex isn't a smart thing to do.

You should go to a doctor or health clinic. You very well could be pregnant and just took the test too soon. You should refrain from having unprotected sex until you find out one way or the other.

If your periods are irregular than you may have to wait and see what happens in the next few weeks. Try taking another preg test if you haven't seen anything in 2 weeks.
