Globalization has, not only affected, but improved my life as ever.....
I think that, since the period after the end of the Second World War in 1945, globalization has been playing a major role in the lives of all respects of people.

The UN has been helping mankind to a large extent and I particularly think that we should thank them. Just think of the consequences YOU or WE would have faced if there had been no globalization.......I think you wiil get your answer. But then again, it is my duty as an answerer to provide you with prominent answers. The consequences would be :-

1) There would have been no industrialization as trade and commerce would have been jammed due to the after-effects of the War.

2) There would have been no progress in science ; we wouldn't have been roaming around with cell phones, neither cars nor any sort of locomotives.

3) Terrorism would have had total control throughout the world and terrorists like Osama Bin Laden would have all the power you could ever think of.

4) Society would have been ripped apart. Apartheid could have again gripped the loose hinges of human social activities which would have formed disturbances daily office-works.

5) Orphaned children would have had seperate death rates as they would have died of uneducational-infanticide and child-labour.

6) The newspaper headlines would express nuclear bombing as a daily act.

7) On the whole, the whole of mankind would have collapsed to rubble if it globalization hadn't taken place.....

Only one good result would've been that mankind would have been saved from the population explosion........ lol......

I work for the government so feel pretty secure with my career, I'm in the "security" field. With the major global changes regarding imports, my family is much healthier because we are reading more labels and try to only buy US grown foods. I also make much of my own wardrobe so I'm not supporting sweatshops overseas. Regarding the fuel crisis and climate changes, we are riding our bicycles and walking more too. I feel that many things our country can do for itself has been outsourced which ends up costing us much more in the long run. Turning off the TV and computer and spending some quality time with the kids, playing old fashioned card games and making candles and useful crafts along with board games. There is NO need to be dependent on others.

I worked in a factory that moved to Mexico, so I know 50 people including myself that lost our jobs. I also posted a q on here about finding products made in America and got a poor response. Food and a couple of cars. Mitsubishi is made in America, but Chrysler is not; so you can't go by the name.
