I am doing literary discussion on a book Farewell to Manzanar. Here's what it says to do.

*Search the internet for information on the Manzanar Internment Camp. Write a one page typed paper on your findings and include a brief description on your feelings towards this historical sight. On a separate page, include a bibliography of where you obtained your facts.

I also have a History project due on Wednesday, which is related to the bibliography too. Bibliography basically a book or internet citations. It identifies more details and informations about something that you have use to research such as books or internet. Here are the examples:

Books :

Higham, Cindy. Snowflakes for All Seasons. Salt Lake City: Gibbs Smith, 2004, pp. 3-4

The author is listed with last name first. The title is underlined. The city where the book is published is listed followed by a colon and the name of the publisher. The year the book is published is then listed follwed by a period. In this case Snowflakes for All Seasons is the title, but this site does not have an underline availible for me to show you.

Internet:

Emma Willard. Online. 10 March 2005.

If there is an author, list it first. Title of the item is underlined. (in this case it is Emma Willard) Include the date of access (the date that you found this site), and put the in the brackets.

Good Luck

A bibliography is list of recourses in which you found your information from. Say you wrote something that came from a book you read, your bibliography would include the name of the book, the author, the year it was published and the page number or section that you got your information from. If you get your info from the net your bibliography would include the site you visited to get the information from and any other links that took you to that information.
I hope this helps.

A bibliography is where you cite your sources that you use in your paper. Obviously, if you do any research, you need to give credit to those who's information you are using. Go online to a bibliography guide, maybe by searching google and it should show you exactly how to do it. If you don't use a bibliography, it can be considered plagerism (sp?)

A bibliography is simply a list of where you found the facts that you used. It's typically so that your teacher can check quickly for plagiarism.

MLA (standard) format goes like this:

In an alphabetical list using the first word of each entry:

Last name, first name of author. "Article Title." (date last updated) ## Month YYYY. (italics)Title of Website. (date you found the source) ## Month YYYY. Sponsor Organization. <(web address)>.

If you don't have all of the info, just leave out that segment- but put a period after every segment you do have.

Hope this helps, and good luck with your paper!

It's a seperate piece at the end of you're essay where you list, in alphabetical order, the sources you used to get your information for the essay. These can be books, websites, articles, anything. If you don't have a bibliography then you're probably plagiarising. If you go to college you'll soon know all about it!

If you don't even know what a bibliography is, you are in trouble Start by looking the word up in a dictionary. Then, I'd suggest contacting someone else in your class who may have paid more attention to the assignment, because usually teachers want bibliographies done in a certain specific form, and we would have no way of knowing what your teacher wants you to do.

I'm going to guess that you've done a bibliography before and that your brain is just a little frozen on that word right now... a bibliography is where you show where you got your information from. Whenever you quote anything or obtain facts from a source such as a website, magazine, or a book, you need to include it in a bibliography. (Otherwise, that's plagarism.) its where you list your sources. like the books, or internet sites you got your information from. you will probably have to ask someone in your class, though, because most teachers want bibliographies done a certain way. good luck on your essay!

A bibliography is just that: where you obtained your facts.

Here's an easier site that'll help you put it in bibliography format:
