We have to get rid of the "dessicated coconut" Howard, before the country becomes the 53rd state of the US! He has been in government far too long and thinks that the Libs OWN the bloody country the same as his mate Bush does in America. Too many lies, too much deception and no sense of responsibility to the people of Australia.

Remember the WMD's, children overboard lies, Australian Wheat Board cover up, the Libs sale of OUR Telstra, Workchoices and AWA's, the "never ever" GST, GST AND excise charges on petrol, his big stick approach to the states - do as I want or you don't get funding for health, education, etc., etc!

We need a change and we need it NOW, before it's too late!

John Howard is the right choice based on his records as against Kevin Rudd.

John Winston Howard (born 26 July 1939) is an Australian politician and the Prime Minister of Australia. He is the second-longest serving Australian Prime Minister after Sir Robert Menzies. He previously served as Treasurer in the government led by Malcolm Fraser from 1977–1983 and was Leader of the Liberal Party from 1985–1989 through the 1987 election against Bob Hawke. Elected again as Leader of the opposition in 1995, Howard became the 25th Prime Minister of Australia after defeating incumbent Paul Keating in the 1996 election. His government was re-elected in the 1998, 2001 and 2004 elections.

Kevin Michael Rudd (born 21 September 1957), is the leader of the federal Australian Labor Party and Leader of the Opposition in the Australian Parliament. He has been a member of the Australian House of Representatives since 1998, representing the Division of Griffith, Queensland.

I don't think it's going to be John Howard vs. Kevin Rudd. I believe that Howard will be gone by July. The question is who the Liberals will get to replace Howard: Costello or Turnbull. If they are smart, they will pick the latter. Turnbull has a chance to keep the ALP out of power. But if they choose Costello, who seems to get more rabid everyday, Rudd will be in for more than a few years...
