once you get the ipod, you have to pay for every song you get from iTunes. Or you have to get your computer serviced once you get too many viruses from stealing music from sites like limewire.
My suggestion: get an MP3 player that is compatible with the current trend in music which is Unlimited legal downloading for a flat monthly fee. Think of it like Netflix but you never have to send the music back, you can always buy the music, and you can have an unlimited amount of songs.

Anywhere you go they are going to be the same price $199.99... All places that sell iPods and Apple products are authorized resellers, so they can't set their own prices, they have to sell them at the price that Apple sets...

$199.99, pretty much anywhere in the US. You can get free laser-engraving if you buy it directly from Apple (make sure you get the correct format if you do, since they're the only source for Mac-formatted iPods).
