How can I avoid them from skinning the back of my feet?
I love canvas flats and canvas shoes in general, but they are so painful =(

So much love for shoes, too little bandaids.. :(
Help? Thanks!

Here's a pic for those who don't know what canvas shoes are!

i should've added that I don't want to wear socks! Is there some way I can add some padding to the back of my shoes?

I love shoes like that! What I do is put foot powder on my feet...buy the Dr Scholl's kind. It keeps your feet from sweating a lot and sticking to the shoe. Also, putting a little padding in the back where the heel is helps. I buy gel cushions and glue gun them in and it feels so comfortable! good luck. ♥

I had the same problem a while back. I just got a little bit thicker ankle socks and it stopped. Now I can wear normal socks, without using 79825785 band-aids :]

They'll loosen up on the heel the more you wear them out.

Canvas Shoes <3

EDIT:

Oh! Your talking ballet flats.. Well, I have those too.. Btw, those aren't technically Canvas Shoes. Canvas Shoes are more like..

Also, considering your like flats.. Punkrose shoes are the best <3333

&& to answer your question in the first place, with ballet flats you don't wear socks, so try putting some tissue on the back heel where I know the band-aids are needed ;]

If your problem is blisters, you can try buying moleskin. It's kinda like super long lasting fabric band-aids, except you put it on the back of your shoe (one side is sticky, the other is soft). You could put it on your heel too if you wanted to, but then it would be just like a band-aid. My sister has this problem all the time, and it works great for her. If your shoes are too big, it helps fill in the extra space, or it can help soften the back up. Dr. Scholl makes it, and you can find it at Walmart.

Or you can just be like me, and ignore the pain. Eventually, you get so many blisters that you no longer get blisters. But I wouldn't recommend it-I have scars lol.

I love canvas shoes too. I cannot wear them without some sort of sock though. I wear those little socks that you cannot see above your shoes.

yea those r called flats. canvas shoes r like slip ons vans but to answer ur question when i wear my van slips on(i no diff shoe but i still get blistered) with no socks i just put a band aid there and it seems to do the trick especially if its just one big one instead of a ton of lil ones

stick bandaids to the back of the shoes on the inside where the back of your feet goes
